Rudo Y Cursi

Gael Garcia - Bernal and Diego Luna team up again for another Mexican Film, Rudo Y Cursi. A literal translation would be "Rough and Tacky". The storyis about two brother in Mexico who are trying to accomplish their goals. One wants to becomea footballer and the other a singer.I have not watch this film, but Iwill really soon. However, I don't think it is as amazing as Y tu mama tambien. I have read some of the reviews and they are not that great. We'll see. I'll let you know what I thought about it after watching it.

1, 2...8 1/2, NINE!

In 1963 an Italian filmmaker, Federico Fellini, made a film that has become one of my favorites, 8 1/2 (Otto e mezzo). The movie has nothing to do with numbers or shoe size, it was called 8 1/2, for the simple reason that it was his 8 1/2 production. One of Fellini's first films was a co-production.

In 1982 an adaptation of Fellini's film opened in Broadway. The film had been adapted into a musical called Nine.

Now, following the success of other stage musicals at have been adapted for the silver screen like, Chicago and Hairspray, Nine has also become a feature film. The best part of this new adaptation has to be the cast.

Here's are some names:

Daniel Day-Lewis
Marion Cotillard - Penélope Cruz - Judi Dench
Nicole Kidman - Kate Hudson - Sophia Loren - Stacy Ferguson

I'm most excited to see Fergie, from The Black Eyed Peas, play one of my favorite characters from the original film, Saraghina. Saraghina is a prostitute who lives on the beach and dances for little boy for some coins. I'm also excited to hear Penelope Cruz sing.
OPENS NOVEMBER 25th 2009.

FULL MOON!

Ok, I'm not the biggest werewolf fan (I just like vampires more). But the new werewolf movie, The Wolfman, makes me smile. 1. because it's not one of those stupid films that start with "American werewolf in..." This film goes back to the original werewolf films, or at least as closest they can get to it. It's a more traditional wolfman. 2. Benicio Del Toro is the wolfman, that's it! Also, more important according to Matt McDaniel from Yahoo Movies, "What distinguishes this new "Wolfman" from most of the other werewolf movies of the past decade is that the creature is actually the actor in makeup, not a digital creation." I like this!

"Titanic 2: Jack's Revenge."

Just kidding! Recently I came across an article about James Cameron, the director of Titanic. I found out that he has not done any film since Titanic! That worries me a little, and makes me wonder what he has been doing for the past 12 years. However, he's coming back with a new film that has been in the works for while now. The name of his new film is "Avatar". "Avatar is a fantasy-futuristic kind of film....just the way I like them. Well, he's the trailer...and, oh yeah, the movies is in 3D....because that's the new thing! December 18 is the day!

Let's go here!

Republic of Maldives!

A few months ago I discovered this place. It was in an article, the article
talked about how this islands are disappearing due to the rising of the oceans.
So, I made that the decision to go to this place before it's gone. The islands are
located just on the south west of India.

The plan: Fly to India. I always wanted to go to India, I don't know why but I
have some kind of connection with India. I will make my way to southern India
and then take a boat to Malé!

But first I need to find a job : (

The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus!!!

I've been waiting for this film for a long time now and the
release date is approaching. I very excited about this project,
this is what I'm all about!

The trailer has been released and it looks pretty
AMAZING!

Oh yeah, The main character was played by 4 of my
favorite actors.

Heath Ledger
- Johnny Depp - Colin Farrell - Jude Law

Look who's back!

DEXTER! One of my favorite TV shows is coming back this fall 09.
The 4th season will premiere Sep. 27th!!!

Joining the cast this season is John Lithgow.
You my remember him from 3rd Rock from the Sun.
John plays a serial killer, Walter Simmons aka the "Trinity killer".
The reason why he's called the "Trinity killer" is because he
kills in threes. And of course, Dexter become fascinated by
his way of killing and he begins his hunt. Another chase between
to killers, because Miami only has place for one.

Also we'll see how he'll deal with his new born baby and his double life?
